To celebrate my graduation, start of the summer nicely, and help celebrate Steph’s 21st birthday, I spent the weekend in Vegas. This was the first time I’ve been there, and it was a wonderful time. I stayed at the Four Queens Hotel in downtown Vegas, in the center of Fremont Street. While this isn’t “The Strip” per-say, it was still a really cool location; and the strip was only like 30 minutes away via bus (really cheap also $5 for a 24 hour pass). But yeah, I spent the weekend wandering around, gambling, partying and having fun. I actually got pretty lucky with the gambling, I played some slots, blackjack and roulette mainly. With roulette, I was able to make like $50 on day, it was all about spotting patterns in how the wheel was spinning and making a prediction based on the previous spins. This is probably really wrong, but it worked for me :-p.
Anyway, it was a great time, enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully, I put up pictures at some point… eventually… need to get some from Steph first as well before I can post them… But yeah, perfect start to this summer.
