Google Sync for iPhone

Sweet, Google Mobile Sync now supports the iPhone! This means I can get Google to push my contacts and calendar to my iPhone. Next step is getting my email (mainly gmail account) pushed to my phone also. Almost there I hope!

Questions about the 3G iPhone

Apple announced a 3G iPhone today during the WWDC. However, after the announcement, there are still some unknowns left: The Apple Store page on the iPhone lists the GPS as Assisted GPS. Does this mean there is no actual GPS chip in the phone, and the GPS is based on cell-triangulation? Can it be unlocked

Research in Motion (RIM) recently announced the Blackberry “Thunder;” a touchscreen equipped Blackberry. I don’t see this being anything more than a niche device targeted towards professionally Blackberry users that want the touchscreen aspect of the iPhone. Stimulus Money

So, I’m supposed to be getting a $600 direct deposit from the government as a part of the economic stimulus package. We’re supposed to get it tomorrow, so hopefully my bank account gets a nice bump at midnight. My basic plan is to buy the new 3G iPhone, when it gets released that is. But
