NY Philharmonic

So, Kwee12 requested that I elaborate on my last post. I will do so, at a later point, when I can correctly abstract all the events.

It snowed last night which was pretty cool. I had forgotten how pretty it looks when you have snow coming down and its pitch black outside, looks really pretty. I would put up a picture, but it really didn’t accumulate all the much, so its not much to look at.

Yesterday night was a lot of fun, Scholars took a bunch of us to see the New York Philharmonic at the Lincoln Center. We heard Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances, Henri Dutilleux’s L’arbre des songes, and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony no 2. It was a lot of fun, and the music was amazing, all except the second one, that is. Some of the people there called it screeching music with some rumbling. The last piece was by far the best.

Hmm, so I think that’s all for now, I should get back to working on my papers, and studying for my finals…
