My parents and I decided to go to the Mohegan Sun casino today. The place is huge… Much bigger than a typically Atlantic City casino. We stayed with the slot machines, I would have played some poker, I hadn’t had a chance to brush up on my card counting skills. Few years ago, I learned the basics of card counting, nothing too complicated just how its done. But, unfortunately I don’t remember it anymore. Fun time, the food was excellent, peach cheesecake for desert at lunch was very good:

There were a bunch of waterfalls, none of the pictures came out that well, but in the ponds where the waterfall empties out into, there was money there. Some people throw in pennies into the water for good luck, but here some people had thrown in dollar bills. I don’t know if this was for good luck, or for some other reason, but there was a good amount of money in there.

The funniest thing that I saw was a sign in the bathroom, so I really couldn’t take a picture of it. It was a sign located near the wastebasket as you were leaving the bathroom. It said, “Please see attendant for disposal of syringes.” Yeah, syringes in a casino… I should have taken a picture… But if you ever do to Mohegan Sun, look for this sign in the bathroom.
