I haven’t updated this since February… So, let’s see, what’s been going on since then? I started working at New York University in mid March. I’m a Financial Analyst in the Arts and Sciences School. I manage the Chemistry Department’s operating budget, and all of the grants awarded to the faculty members. It’s really different than what I’ve done before, and I’m enjoy the new experience.
At the end of May/early June I moved to Hoboken. I got a place there, and I’m getting it all set up now. It’s a two bedroom (I’m going to rent out one of the rooms), one bathroom condo in the middle of Hoboken. My new place makes my commute so much better. Instead of 1.5 hours each way, I only take 45 minutes. And that’s with me walking to the PATH station, if I were taking a bus or biking it would be even faster.
I guess those are the two big things that have happened since February. Oh wait, how can I forget? My brother and sister-in-law recently just got a puppy! He’s a mix between a poodle and shih tzu, and looks really cute.
