Google is planning to release Google Spreadsheets on Tuesday. As of now, there is a Tour of Features on the sneak peak website. The tour shows the main features will be Creating, Sharing and Storing documents.
This announcement comes soon after Google purchased Writely, a web-based document editing program; with many of the same features as Microsoft Word. Now with the upcoming release of Google Spreadsheet, with the same features as Microsoft Excel, one has to wonder if Google is planning to attack Microsoft’s Office Suite right as Microsoft is planning to release a new version.
