Wells Fargo and hard pulls

Why does well fargo like pulling credit reports so much?? I opened a checking account and filled out a credit card application on the same day, and they pulled my report twice. Now, I understand asking for credit requires a pull to see what my credit profile/history is about. But why would they, or any

Review: Half-Blood Prince

I’m going to start off by saying The Half-Blood Prince was my favorite book out of the series, so I went into the movie with high expectations, and as a result I was very critical of it. Overall, I would rate the movie a solid 6.5… It was good, but there were too many changes

Skittles Vodka

I just finished making my second batch of skittles infused vodka. All five colors are filtered, bottled in their glass flasks and sitting in the fridge. They should be ready to go by Saturday, nice and chilled.

It's been a while

I haven’t updated this since February… So, let’s see, what’s been going on since then? I started working at New York University in mid March. I’m a Financial Analyst in the Arts and Sciences School. I manage the Chemistry Department’s operating budget, and all of the grants awarded to the faculty members. It’s really different

Job Hunt

I thought at this point I would be posting about my house hunt, my attempt to get a place in Hoboken. But here I am, posting that I’m looking for a job. I was laid off from work last Monday due to the business environment. So, like so many other people I’m looking for something

India Trip 2008 – 2009

I had a short little trip to India at the end of 2009; left NY on December 25th and was back on January 4th. The main point of the trip was to visit family; plus I hadn’t gone to India since my brother’s wedding, so it was nice to go back and see everyone again.

2008 in Review

So, 2008 has been over for a couple of day and it’s time of my annual year in review post. 2008 was a fairly relaxing, easy year with nothing too crazy or exciting happening. Let me clarify, there were plenty of exciting things, just not a major event like in years past. For example, in
